Smart Video Converter App Reviews

The good thing its free. The bad thing it has horrible quality.

Bought it to convert WMV to MPEG4. It does it, but poor quality. A lot of pixelation, nowhere near original quality with the clips I converted.

I am writing this review right after downloading the app and converting a single video. I was very impressed with how simple and quick it was. I converted a small wmv file to mp4. And the app just worked. I am not a power user, but I do produce online videos for my online education website. I wish all my tools worked as easily as this one just did. But like I said, I am not a power user. I cannot really speak about quality (the resulting video was of passable quality to my eyes) or complex usage. Maybe as I move forward Ill be able to update this review with more information. But if youre looking for a simple, free solution to playing wmv files on our Mac, I would recommend this one.

This app is awesome! I took and WMV video and converted it to MOV, it worked perfectly. This 5 minute video took 2 minutes to convert and this is all free. I LOVE IT. it makes it super easy to convert from pc to mac.

... it might be worth downloading. But if you actually want to watch it, it pixelates to such an extreme that I found it not worth the download.

I was in need of an app that would convert a .wmv file to a MP4….Worked great! Very happy...

I tried converting a DivX .avi to a .mp4 and the results showed bad artifacting. There is no way to adjust the quality of the conversion that I could find.

This converter used to work like a charm, but now after I tell it to convert a video the program immediately quits and gives me an error message! I guess they want you to spend money on their app that is why it doesnt work any more! Before I would have rated this app a 5 star but now I am very disappointed!

It did what it promissed but only 1 minute of a 30 min video. It is a no-download apple.

If you are looking for an app that will have zero function and do nothing but crash, youve found it here. I wont reccomend anything from this Han Dongdong person. I cant believe Apple still has it available for download.

Downloaded, & it will not even open wmv format. waste of time.

Just used it for the first time and it converted a mov. video file to mp4 in about 20 seconds and this was a monster file. Functional and easy to use. Thank you

I have been trying to listen to a recording that one of my students made which was saved as an .flv file (not sure why, but Schoology didn’t convert it properly). I could not listen to it, and I tried many different ways. I finally decided to see if there was a converter here on the app store, and voilà! here it is. This worked beautifully, and very easily. Fast. I wish I had started with looking here; this would have saved both of us lots of anguish! When it finished converting, the app sent the file to iTunes, where I could listen to it. This was a short recording, about 90 seconds, so this was perfect.
